The Opportunity:
GRiC Africa is calling on creative and driven professionals with a passion for youth development and community building. As a consultant, you'll work hand-in-hand with our program and leadership teams to design and deliver impactful training, workshops, and research initiatives.
Areas of Expertise We're Seeking:
- Career Preparedness: Supporting young adults in career planning and professional development.
- Gender and Social Inclusion: Advancing equity through inclusive approaches and community engagement.
- Financial Literacy: Empowering youth with financial management skills and entrepreneurial knowledge.
- Emotional Intelligence: Promoting self-awareness and leadership for personal growth.
- Youth and Wellness: Strengthening mental health and holistic well-being.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Design and facilitate engaging training sessions and workshops for youth and community groups.
- Develop tailored curricula and resources to support skills development and inclusion.
- Provide technical expertise and innovative solutions aligned with our mission.
- Conduct research and assessments to inform our strategies and measure impact.
- Collaborate with our team to enhance learning and community transformation outcomes.
Assignments and Qualifications:
Assignments may vary, offering short-term, part-time, or project-based opportunities. While specific requirements differ, we generally seek professionals with:
- A university degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields (education, social sciences, etc.).
- Demonstrated expertise in one of our focus areas.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills.
- Proven experience working with youth and community organizations in Africa.
- Creativity, flexibility, and a commitment to our mission.
Experience in consulting or curriculum development is a plus!
